A beautiful bird with a long tail,
Stands on the wall, so proud and tall.
Its feathers shine in the sun,
As it looks for food, on the run.

Its eyes are bright and full of life,
As it searches for a tasty bite.
It finds a treat and takes a bite,
And then it flies away, out of sight.

The peacock is a beautiful bird,
That makes us all feel so stirred.
It's a joy to see it fly and soar,
And it's a reminder that there's so much more,
To the world around us than we know,
And that we should always be on the go,
To explore and learn and grow.
